The Haecksen will be at the Chaos Communication Congress again this year:
From 27 to 30 December 2024, hackers, technology enthusiasts, social activists and people defending personal rights from all over the world will meet on a huge playground where we will hack, solder, tinker, teach, learn, celebrate, network, think up utopias and projects together and, above all, have a lot of fun with the equipment. You don’t have to be able to do any of this beforehand, just come along and bring your partners, friends and children!
Both our assembly and most workshops are open to people of all genders. Only some workshops are FLINTA- or trans-only and are labelled accordingly in the description. You will find our assembly and workshop room in room Y above the entrance gallery on the 2nd floor. For orientation in the huge CCH and to find us, please use c3nav.de.
If you feel like it, you are welcome to take part in one of our numerous workshops or simply join us in the assembly at our Haecksen fire. This year we also have a helpdesk where we answer your questions about the Haecksen.
We look forward to seeing you (again) in analogue form, working out and designing things together and meeting new people (and hopefully new Haecksen)!
We would already like to draw your attention to three of our offers:
On day 2, there will be a Haecksen picnic for future Haecksen in Hall D from 1 to 3 pm:
Here we will introduce the Haecksen in detail and welcome all FLINTA who would want to become acquainted better with the Haecksen and join us.
On Day 3, our traditional Haecksen picnic for Haecksen who have already joined will take place from 2 to 3.30 pm in Hall D:
Here we invite all Haecksen who have already joined us in advance of or at the 38C3 and look forward to further exchange and networking.
Also on day 3, from 5.15 to 6.45 pm, the Q&A session Haecksen for non-Haecksen will take place in our workshop room Stonewall IO (Y 06):
This event is intended for all of you who would like to find out more about the Haecksen, but who do not identify themselves as FLINTA and therefore cannot attend the picnic on day 2.
Here you can find more information about the congress, e.g. an overview of all talks, workshops and other events, a list of all assemblies as well as helpful information on topics such as accessibility and support during the event.
